Job Description

• Responsible for month end close process. Ensure monthly book close with accuracy and compliance with Company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules, analysis and reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
• Analyse the country financial reports/accounts and highlight discrepancies/issues
• Prepare and/or coordinate information for US reporting / tax purposes.
• Responsible for continual review of Internal Controls and SOX
• Support monthly Inter-company Netting and posting of appropriate entries.
• Managing the Fixed Assets of Asia Pacific Region
• Support system enhancements partnering the IT Team; responsible for continual review and appraisal of systems and procedures,
• Proficient in financial modules of SAP
• Participate or lead ad hoc finance initiatives or other projects

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of General Ledger, Financial Accounting concepts and US GAAP.
• Knowledge on Balance Sheet reconciliation, Period End Process
• Should have hands on knowledge of SAP and T codes
• Independent worker who is able to plan work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
• An individual contributor, at the same time, able to work well in a big team.
• Good communication and analytical skill
• Candidates must be a responsible, self-driven as well as possess an attitude for continuous process improvement
